Action Teams
Action Teams are where members stop talking about the workforce gap, the Fort Novosel relationship, legislation and tourism, and start working on them. Every team is open to members. Email the Chamber to be added to a team's meeting notices.
Meets the needs of business with the curriculum and passion of education by creating a better understanding of those needs between schools, businesses and the community. The team addresses workforce readiness and partners schools with local businesses to prepare students for area employment needs. It also stewards the Chamber's Innovative Teaching Project Grant and the Gloria Sessions Ventress Memorial Scholarship.
Fosters and maintains a commitment to support the needs of military members and families who are assigned, attached to, or retired in the Enterprise area. The committee builds relationships between the civilian community and the Armed Forces through information sharing, events and resource identification. Meets the fourth Wednesday, 8–9 AM, with quarterly hosted breakfasts, and produces the Veterans Appreciation Luncheon each November.
Facilitates connections with elected officials and stakeholders at the local, state and federal levels to advance the Enterprise community and keep members informed about legislation affecting business. The Chamber maintains a bipartisan, non-governmental position and creates platforms for citizens to engage with their representatives at the city, county and state levels.
Unites industry partners in tourism, recreation, marketing and hospitality to network and attract visitors to the Enterprise area by promoting events, attractions, dining, entertainment and lodging. Works alongside Visit Enterprise and Main Street Enterprise.
